Veterinary care provided
Upon intake, our rescues promptly are examined thoroughly, bathed and deworming is started. If I have any medical concerns they see our Veterinarian within 24 hours of arrival and whatever I can begin treating at home, I do. Boosters, flea/lice treatment is administered as needed, and diet transition is also done within the first 36 hours of arrival. I am a huge pan of Purina Pro Plan puppy as the majority of pups tummies handle it, they enjoy the taste and it is available on Amazon and local petstores.
All of the puppies are monitored consistently and kept in a clean and stress free environment (in my home with me) to ease them into the big world. They are provided consistent clean blankets, towels, toys, water and bedding as well as are taken out multiple times per day for interaction, handling, cuddles and exploring.
Adult dogs stay with me until I feel they are ready and we have their medical updated ( vaccines, prevention and 4dx blood test) and generally assimilate them into my personal dog pack. This way I know their needs to be able to help them find a perfect match.
Vaccines include DA2PP + bordetella if older than 10 weeks for puppies and Revolution application on intake, as well as a dose of Strongid T dosed for their appropriate weight (literally when I get them home.)
